One of the main roles of the Associate Priest is to lead the Visitation and Pastoral Care Ministry. Pastoral Care, visitation, and communion are offered to those members of the congregation who are shut-in, in the hospital, or otherwise in need of the prayer and presence offered. Members or the Pastoral Care team may take part in courses offered by the Pastoral Department of Vancouver Island Health Authority.
